Tibetan Yoga is being taught at 3PM on Sunday's here at Dragon Seat by Chuck Sullivan a local acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist who has worked with opening energy pathways in the body for many years. This is open to all regardless of physical condition and is done in a chair. There is a meditation and contemplative component to the yoga.

Coordinator for the Memphis Shambhala Meditation Group, Candia Ludy has been studying and practicing meditation over twenty years and has been a member of Shambhala since 1988. She lived at Karme Choling Meditation Center in Vermont for two years, 1989-90 and was the Director of Shambhala Training for the Washington DC Shambhala Center in 1991 and 1992 .

In 1992, she attended the first Seminary of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche at Shambhala MountainCenter. Since 1995, Ms. Ludy has been staffing programs at Shambhala Mountain in the summers and was the co-coordinator of Seminary in 1999 and 2002.

Ms. Ludy is active in Shambhala Training and the Shambhala Arts. Presently she is on the International Council for Shambhala Art and the Shambhala Committee on Social Action, Ethics and Politics. Ms. Ludy is a Shambhala Art teacher and co-founder and President of foodaid.com, a Shambhala inspired non-profit created to assist with the implementation of humanitarian aid projects and in the developing of projects that work with the root of hunger...aggression in its many forms. A meditation instructor since 1992, she is available to meet with interested meditation students.
