Tibetan Yoga is being taught at 3PM on Sunday's here at Dragon Seat by Chuck Sullivan a local acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist who has worked with opening energy pathways in the body for many years. This is open to all regardless of physical condition and is done in a chair. There is a meditation and contemplative component to the yoga.

Thursday: Shambhala Meditation Class - based on an audio set of talks by Pema Chodron and Dale Asreal from a summer program called Learning To Stay. You are welcome to join the class at any time. Make up CDs can be arranged.  7:00 - 9:00 PM

The Venerable Khandro Rinpoche is a teacher in both the Kagyu and Nyingma traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.

She speaks fluent English, Tibetan, and Hindi dialects. She has been teaching in Europe, North America and Southeast Asia since 1987.

Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche's book, Turning the Mind Into an Ally, is available in both hardback and now paperback throughout North America. With a foreword by Pema Chödrön, the book introduces the practices of peaceful abiding (shamatha) as well as contemplative meditation. It was written with the general public in mind.
